In these 3 short months you have become the best thing since sliced bread in our home and family, Mommy, Daddy and Josh can't get enough of you!...along with the rest of our families.
It has been a busy month, baseball fields, Baptism, Easter and you were wonderful through it all.
You recognize our voices. If someone else is holding you and you hear Daddy, you look for him. As soon as Josh comes home from school you hear him and smile.
You LOVE being around people, family parties and shopping are your favorite things to do right now. You smile on que when an old lady comes up to talk to you and that just makes their day! We love when you share your smile, it's too cute not to!
You have a new found fascination with your hands, looking at them for long periods of time, as if they were the most amazing thing you have ever seen.
And when you are done inspecting, you devour them.......
You reach for things and think you can grab things that are very far away, like the ceiling fan. You are infatuated with ceiling fans, at home, in restaurants, at other people's homes. We laid you on Me-mom's bed at Easter on a few occasions and you watched the fan for 30 minutes at a time.
You are starting to know what you like and what you don't like. You like to watch your mobile, but only during the day....
You love to be held, but not the cradle way and you will make yourself stiff as a board until the person holding you realizes that you want to be on their shoulder......
Your bedtime ritual includes being swaddled, your Nuk and your ocean noises. That's it. You have no desire to be rocked, you just want to be put in your crib like that and you fall asleep on your own.

Instant sleeping baby
Sitting in your bouncy seat, looking at your hands, as I type this....you have to be the most content baby around!
We are going to have professional pictures taken tomorrow, but you know Mommy has to make her little number and do her own photo session..........
Hehe! I know Daddy's going to say you look like the Black Swan, but I love it!!
Black Swan? lol... I'm so glad you make these entries. That way I get to watch her grow too :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....maybe I should reference a movie I have not seen? Haha! She just looks like a ballerina in black.
