I'm embarrassed to say, there's a sink full of dishes downstairs that will be waiting until morning. It has been a non-stop week and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.
I was MIA for a couple hours today and my husband got worried that I wasn't answering text messages or phone calls. The reason? Shopping with an 8-month-old and coupons....ah yes, coupon shopping is a hell of a job when there are little hands grabbing at all the clipped paper you're strategically holding. And please forgive the Cheerios that are crunching beneath your feet as you walk behind us....we leave a trail so we remember where we have been. Oh, and the fact that those mini carts I used to use for those quick, pre-baby shopping trips have affected my ability to maneuver a normal sized cart without taking out innocent bystanders...watch your toes and small children please. I guess what I'm trying to say is, when you have a baby, shopping is more than a chore, it's an adventure! An adventure that every elderly person, stay at home Mom and business man on lunch break enjoys being involved in as my daughter is sure to grab their attention with a wave, squeal or stare. She loves to socialize with random people while shopping, then gets annoyed when we have spent too much time in the store....and then it becomes a race to grab anything I see that we may need. See? An adventure, I tell you!
