pin-worthy

I'd like to start off by saying I made a very "pin-worthy" (Pinterest-worthy) meal tonight. I think I saw it somewhere on facebook a while ago, I couldn't remember what exactly was in it, so I just kind of winged it and it turned out awesome. It was a huge hit. I wish I would have taken a picture when it was first served and not after I had put it away, so it is SO much better than the picture. Ok? Trust me.
I'll call it Creamy Spinach Pasta.

Creamy Spinach Pasta recipe:
1 box whole wheat ziti (or whatever you like)
1 package frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
1 can Italian style diced tomatoes
1 package cream cheese
1-2 cups mozzarella cheese
garlic powder
salt & pepper

Prepare pasta, then stir in the rest while it's hot. Bake at 350 for

Yeah, that's it. Well, I also made chicken cutlets and put them on top when I baked it. I'm sure it would be great with diced chicken, but my husband doesn't like chicken mixed into things, that's why I did cutlets.

Seemed like one of those Pinterest type meals, so Just thought I'd share.
Wish I had a better pic!

How about some things my toddler says to go along with this post?
She is obsessed with "baby" everything. So, anything small is now a "baby", in which she says in a super squeaky voice.
She gets a small blueberry and that is now the "baby". After she puts the "Mommy" and "Daddy" blueberry in her mouth, she pops the "baby" in and says, "The baby blueberry is going to the party in my mouth".haha. Yep, that's breakfast time.
We saw a smaller trash truck as we were coming out of Anthony's job, she asked why it was so small, so I called Anthony. He explained that it is smaller so it can get in alley ways and smaller areas. After explaining that to Madeline, she looked at me as serious as could be and said, "No Mommy, it's a baby trash truck and it's my favorite".
Not to mention every thing is WHY? Then I go into a detailed explanation, only for they next question to be WHY? Maybe I should be one of those parents that just says BECAUSE. Nah, that wouldn't be as fun.
Tonight's dinner conversation:
Me: "Josh, we need to figure out your school supplies."
Madeline: "Josh's school supplies?"
Me: "Yes, Joshua goes back to school soon and needs supplies."
Madeline: "Like what?"
Me: "Pencils, pens, notebooks, blah, blah , blah....."
Madeline: "why?"
Me: "So he can do school work and projects...."
Madeline: "why?"
Me: "So he can learn all kinds of things and get good grades..."
Madeline: "why?"
Me: "Because we label our children with a letter.."
Josh: "Moooom."
Yeah, sometimes I get too deep into the convo and forget I'm talking to a toddler.

I thought someone was in the other room, shaking a rattle for him. Nope, he was doing it all on his own!!....
