Hope everyone had a wonderful
Easter. We spent our
weekend at Me-mom & Be-pops and had a very nice time while preparing for
the biggest Easter celebration we have ever had! It was a great time with entirely too much food. I should actually be detoxing my body today from all the bad things I ate, but I can't let all these jelly beans and mac & cheese go to waste...now can I? So one more day of bad eating for me. Although, I'm starting to get very nervous about what this postpartum bod of mine is going to look like...
Seriously? Ridiculous.
The weather was far from perfect, but that did
not stop our egg hunt fun though...we just traded our "princess shoes" for rain boots.
Madeline was not thrilled about taking her "princess shoes" off.
Joshua did such a great job hiding eggs for all the little cousins...
and Madeline was very nonchalant
while hunting, so Uncle Joey and Josh would come along and drop one here and
there. She would get excited and look at the egg for a minute or so, then move
on.
Trying to get her cousin to follow her.haha.
The Easter bunny even hopped all the
way to Me-mom & Be-pops and left and jellybean trail and baskets for the
kids.hehe.
Leaving carrots for the Easter bunny.
Making sure they taste ok.
Josh's basket.
Madeline's basket.
Too early for these camera flashes!
Collecting her bunny trail
Then helping Joshua.
Very interested in what the bunny brought for Josh.
Admiring her basket.
A cute, little chicky!
Making sure to show Memom and Bepop everything.
Trying on some shades.
And a cute video...
So, after going through Easter pictures, I have decided that I (1) looked awful yesterday (2) looked freaking huge (3) should not let my husband be the photographer
Yeah, looking at those pictures really hurt my ego...haha.
Anyway, Pinterest project!
Cute chick cupcakes...
Madeline approved!
I couldn't find yellow dusting sugar ANYWHERE. They had red, blue and green. Not even a spot on the shelf for yellow. So, I made my own with a little sugar and food coloring...turned out great.
And my favorite Easter picture....
Clinging to her brother when she first woke up from her nap.
More Easter cuteness:::
Playing bubbles with Daddy.
Having some cheese with Memom.
