You have become a very curious little scooter [yes, scooter. I have come to realize your form of crawling differs from the norm] over the past month. I have to get on my hands and knees to examine the floor before letting you roam, otherwise you will find the most microscopic piece of whatever and try to devour it. Although, when it is time for peas, banana or anything else yummy, you wait for it to be placed in your mouth[you are like that little bird I was trying to avoid, but it is too adorable to change]. You sit up like a champ and even reach down to get things while keeping your balance. And you have also pulled yourself up ONCE.yes, once....I'm pretty sure you were just trying to impress your two little friends we were with that day.
There is also this adorable reaching thing you do when you want us to pick you up. THAT right there is a heart melter...especially for Daddy when you're on my hip and those little arms reach for him [that is his kryptonite and he is like a squishy ball of mush when this happens].
Your vocabulary is increasing and we are quite sure you say and wave bye-bye...even though it is not very precise, you are definitely working on it. I actually didn't fully believe that [because Me-mom swore you did it and grandmothers tend to
You love bananas and yobaby yogurt, Kick with excitement when I lay you down for bed, wind your mobile and sing "You are my sunshine", Smile at everyone that goes by, Laugh at everyone except Daddy, Sing when you hear music and Fill our hearts with love.
Time is going by too fast, Madeline. We know you need to grow and continue to learn new things, but we just want to cherish every second of you.
Happy SEVEN Months, Bug!
