14 days in

Madeline had her check-up last Thursday and I normally post about it, but we have been insanely busy. She weighs 18 lbs and is 26 inches. 29th percentile for weight and 5th percentile for height...what a little peanut. She has already learned how to utilize her tippy toes while cruising around the end tables, looking for off limit goodies.hehe.

14 days in and I've realized the 9th month is not our best month.
Madeline has woke up at night for the first time since she was 10 weeks old, had her first cold which is keeping her from falling asleep because she cannot breathe, her first diaper rash and has cried more in these days than her entire existence...which still hasn't been a lot, but it's not her. It makes me sad to see our happy girl so uncomfortable, so we're going to Dr. D today for our first sick baby appointment, just to make sure nothing else hasn't developed from this cold. She did have a great night last night... I credit the vapor bath, rub and vaporizer for that, though. I forgot how awesome vaporizers are...it's been a loooong time.

Although, she is currently squeaking one of her toys and smiling over at me ... maybe our little bug is feeling better.
