Day 3. I'm doing alright. *sigh* Fasting is no joke. I'm getting plenty to eat, I know that, it's just not what I WANT to eat. I'm down 4 lbs. Ant is down 5. So, that's good, right? I don't know how you're reading this, but there's definitely a lack of enthusiasm here. I think it's because I found out what real yogurt tastes like this morning. Yeah, it's not good. I was so excited to eat it too....thinking it would taste like my flavored or fruit on the bottom stuff, I dug my spoon right in and shoveled it into my mouth. Wow, did I get a surprise. It's sour...I had to check the label to make sure I didn't pick up sour cream. Nope. Plain, Nonfat yogurt. I had the right stuff. So, I mixed berries in and it didn't help, but I ate it anyway.
Is there a food that you wished you liked? Mine would be onions and raw celery (I like cooked). The onions because they are in every thing and it really sets limitations to what I can eat. The celery because people really look like they are enjoying it and they are so many things to dip it in....especially my hummus right now. A lot of people say it doesn't have a taste, if that were true, I would like it. I made myself eat 2 pieces yesterday, thinking I would get past the taste. I didn't. Maybe I will try again today.
Madeline has her 4 month old appointment today and she has to get shots. I'll be sure to write a post about her weight and height.
