I was supposed to introduce meat back yesterday, but I just wasn't feeling it. So, I'm going to wait on that. I definitely took advantage of the fact that I can have a bowl of cereal now though! Does anyone know what 1 cup of Rice Krispies looks like?? 1/4 of what I would normally consider a serving, that's what. I've been making my own meatless burgers in the food processor, which I think are pretty good. Anthony liked the garbanzo based ones better than the black bean...they tasted the same to me. *shrugs shoulders*
Tonight will be our FOURTH 8pm baseball game in a row. These are the rec league playoffs. Double elimination. With the way our boys have been throwing the ball around, I'm very surprised we made it this far. But, we have and we have a pretty good strategy to save our pitchers. That's what we're hoping for, that the other teams run out of pitching. It worked last year, so we will see if it works this year. *fingers crossed* I haven't charged or brought my camera in fear of jinxing us...I'm a little superstitious like that. But anyway, this leaves us getting home around 11 every night. Madeline was on such an awesome schedule...now? Schedule schmedule. She doesn't get in bed until 11:15, gets up at 6:30 to see the boys off then instead of back to sleep until 9, she will sleep until noon! And she falls asleep mid-activity...
Oh, I hope I can get her back into her normal routine easily once baseball is done.
On another baby note, Madeline gets very excited when I put her in the highchair and loves to sit there during lunch to watch me and dinner to watch the whole family. This lead to her reaching for celery yesterday, a tomato last night and a cucumber today. Let the BLW begin....only here and there right now...we'll go full force at 6 months.
She's definitely enjoying this!!
