It always warms my heart when I see him playing with her. He is definitely wrapped around her finger....like all the men around here, it seems. It is amazing to me how close they are even with the distance in age. They truly enjoy each other's company and I never thought that could be, with a 13 and 2 year old. It makes me proud to see how sweet of a big brother Joshua is and when she does something cute, he makes sure to tell or show me. I love these kids and I cannot wait to add another...and it looks like I planned it perfectly, I'll have a baby helper for the summer.hehehe.
We also had a great family weekend together. I even took the boy to church on Sunday, after we have been away for longer than I would like to admit! Then we all spent the day outside in the beautiful weather, Madeline played, the guys cleaned and played catch, then I taught them how to paint some furniture for me. I love simple family Sundays. That's what it's all about. Taking advantage of those weekend days where we're not running around on a timed schedule. I went to bed with a smile on my face, thinking about how much I love our family and when we spend time together....

A little prayer for our (about) 14 year old dog, Belle, if you can spare it. The little sweetheart isn't feeling so well these past couple days and I'm hoping the vet will just say something she ate didn't agree with her.
I love those special family moments SO much. No matter what the age difference, they still enjoy one another. I agree, it is awesome to have a live in baby sitter too for those RARE date nights with the hubby! So happy for you all. Such a special time! Susan
